Point Loma High School Academic Performance Index

Cabrillo Elementary 2000 AAPI - 99% percent tested, their 2000 API base was 740. Their state-wide rank was a 7, whil their “similar school” rank was a 10. Their 2000 target was 743.

Loma Portal Elementary 2000 API - 100% percent tested, their 2000 API Base was 795 Their state-wide was an 8, while their similar school rank was a 9. Their 2000 target was 796.

Point Loma High School 2000 API - 97% Percent Tested, their 2000 API Base was 700. Their state-wide rank was an 8, while their “similar rank” was a 10. Their 2000 target was 705.

 


A school's growth target is calculated by taking five percent of the distance between a school's 2000 API Base and the interim statewide performance target of 800. For any school with a 2000 API Base of 781 to 799, the annual growth target is one point.
