1parkplace, a leading Internet Marketing technology company for the real estate industry is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about writing and blogging.  The primary focus of this opportunity will be to research regional real estate trends, community happenings, and other local business criteria in order to write Blog posts about.  This is a great opportunity for entry level journalists/communication majors.   You will learn the ins and outs of Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization as a byproduct of this opportunity.

Personal attention, training and mentorship will be provided and the individuals will be coached at each step of the process.

Key areas of responsibility

Aggregate relevant content from local newspapers,  other real estate blogs into daily or weekly articles

  • Research and write intriguing but fun articles on a variety of topics related to the real estate market

Help drive interest and traffic to the blog
We are looking for an individual who has interest and ideally some experience in:

  - The real estate business/market

  - Blogging and creative/news writing

  - Exceptional writing and proofreading skills

  - Knowledge of sites like Technorati and Digg would be helpful

Skills and Requirements

  • Graduate or undergraduate Communication, Journalism or Marketing major preferred (responsible High Schools students will be considered as well)
  • Able to communicate both verbally and via email in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently within defined guidelines and time tables
  • Computer proficiency MS Office, Internet Explorer
  • Must be professional in manner and demeanor
  • Must be creative in problem solving and persistent with goals and objectives

Other Requirements-Must be flexible with directives and be able to work in a fast paced team oriented environment. Must be creative in problem solving and persistent with goals and objectives.  Must be professional in manner & demeanor.  Individuals will work with management and other office team members. High quality customer service satisfaction expected.
