The primary focus of this opportunity will be to research regional real estate trends, community happenings, and other local business criteria in order to write Blog posts about. This is a great opportunity for entry level journalists/communication majors. You will learn the ins and outs of Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization as a byproduct of this opportunity.
Personal attention, training and mentorship will be provided and the individuals will be coached at each step of the process.
Key areas of responsibility
Aggregate relevant content from local newspapers, other real estate blogs into daily or weekly articles
- Research and write intriguing but fun articles on a variety of topics related to the real estate market
Help drive interest and traffic to the blog
We are looking for an individual who has interest and ideally some experience in:
- The real estate business/market
- Blogging and creative/news writing
- Exceptional writing and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of sites like Technorati and Digg would be helpful
Skills and Requirements
- Graduate or undergraduate Communication, Journalism or Marketing major preferred (responsible High Schools students will be considered as well)
- Able to communicate both verbally and via email in a professional manner
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently within defined guidelines and time tables

Inside Sales Consultant - Real Estate Internet Marketing
Title of the position: eMarketing Specialist / Inside Sales
Department: Sales Reports to: Sales Manager
Overall responsibility
To sell 1parkplace services to agents within existing broker offices, mortgage offices and reseller accounts within a given territory. Requires calling to set appointments and perform online sales presentations for groups of agents or for team/company opportunities. eMarketing specialist also interacts with 1parkplace Sales Manager, Area Manager and eMarketing Advisors to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and assist with account management responsibilities.
Key areas of responsibility

Build relationships with targeted prospects, leading to sales, with new clients by following up on agents within current accounts and selling individual agents.

Follow-up on all individual agents (teams 9 or less) who need to be resold annuals

Maintain follow-up with title & mortgage affiliates/sponsors lead generation

Deliver group online presentations to close individual agent sales leads

Follow-up with select VIPs & teams on a scheduled interval for advice

Process orders for approval & payment on scope & quotes from existing accounts

Present marketing and sales materials in support of the company efforts and present proposals and statements of work then process through the 1parkplace Task system

Hand off client interaction to project coordinator when selling broker or team system

Maintain relationships with clients to help up-sell current services, maintain excellent satisfaction and monitor current service levels on all customer orders

Provide prompt, courteous service to all internal and external customers. Prioritizes and address customer needs and demands in a professional manner, providing follow-up and developing cooperative relationships
Qualifications
- Experience 2 year degree minimum. One to three years of inside sales experience, preferably in technology or real estate technology. One to three years experience in the Real Estate industry is desired.
- Skills Must have experience and familiarity with the Internet and uses of the Internet. Must be computer and technology literate. Must be organized and detail-oriented. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
