Introducing the NEW Cirrus Home Search™ – IDX2 technology

Consumer home searching has just taken a new leap.  After nearly a year of development 1parkplace is proud to announce a "limited release" of the new Cirrus Home Search™, IDX2 MLS lead capture solution.

This system is designed to take consumers beyond the basic map based search to find homes in their desired area. This innovation kicks off the next generation of Home Search/Lead capture technology.

In our field testing, findings show that consumers are spending 700% more time searching on an agent’s site and the lead capture has increased by over 40% with Cirrus.

“The Cirrus Home Search is easier and more accurate than our own MLS system. It’s exactly what our real estate customers have been asking for!”

Gregg Neuman
CEO - The Neuman & Neuman Team
Prudential California Realty

All agents, teams and brokerage firm owners who want to learn more about this innovative solution are invited to participate in one of the several upcoming live online demonstrations being conducted this month. Act FAST, space is limited.

This RELEASE is limited to the first 100 REALTORs in Southern California in February

RealEstateSocialMediaCensus-SocialMarketing

Real Estate News leader RISMedia and real estate marketing leader,1parkplace launch the 2010 Dalton/Hundley Real Estate Social Media Census (sm)

By Maria Patterson

In a commitment to reveal the best practices, systems and solutions for maximizing the opportunities presented by social media and social networking, RISMedia and 1parkplace announce the launch of the 2010 Dalton/Hundley Real Estate Social Media Census (sm). To take the Census now, please visit http://www.socialmediacensus.org/.

As communication mediums such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google buzz and a myriad of other ways to communicate with friends, connections and followers continue to grow in usage and popularity, real estate companies and professionals are in significant need of information on how to manage and maximize the social networking landscape.

According to Allan Dalton, Co-Founder and President of RISMedia’s Top 5 in Real Estate Network® and author of the upcoming book, Leveraging Your Social Media Links Converting Friends, Fans, Followers and Users into Buyers and Sellers, social networking/media offers real estate companies and professionals an unmatched opportunity to become relevant with today’s savvy, technology-oriented real estate consumers.

“The social media phenomenon will only continue to grow, both in terms of usage and in the manner in which individual businesses will strategically refine social media potential for their own purpose,” explains Dalton. “The question is, how can real estate professionals best utilize social media and social networking to become and remain relevant, and thereby, increase revenue? The goal of the 2010 Dalton/Hundley Real Estate Social Media Census(sm) is to analyze how real estate companies, agents, teams, and IT and marketing divisions are effectively leveraging social media in order to build profitable relationships with new and past clients and better serve the informational needs of niche markets and newly formed online communities.

Joining Dalton, both in the creation of the 2010 Real Estate Social Media Census as well as materially contributing to Leveraging Your Social Media Links, is Steve Hundley, CEO of 1parkplace, a renowned creator of technology and social media solutions for the real estate industry.

“Allan and I are on a crusade,” says Hundley. “We and our respective organizations are committed to uncovering the best solutions and systems for leveraging social media and social networking by launching this very first-of-its-kind census. Whether you are a social networking neophyte or junkie, a relatively new to real estate brokerage, or successful and seasoned veteran, we value and want to hear your perspective. Please visit www.SocialMediaCensus.org and in just 15 minutes you can make a huge contribution to your career and the industry.”

All participants in the Census will receive a complete report and statistics valued at $495 at no cost to you.

“It became abundantly clear to me several years ago as CEO of Realtor.com, that our industry must provide real estate-relevant content to consumers that transcends merely offering property listing data accompanied by company and agent contact information,” says Dalton. “Social media provides real estate companies and professionals with the unique opportunity to distinguish themselves not just on the basis of market share, but also on ‘information share’ to a virtually limitless audience in order to rise to the status of ‘thought leader.’”

“The 2010 Dalton/Hundley Real Estate Social Media Census (sm) is part of our larger commitment to serve the industry,” says John Featherston, Chairman of RISMedia This year, RISMedia’s Annual Leadership Conference – “The Real Estate Social Media Summit” – will feature more than 80 leading practitioners and expert speakers on the subject of social media and emerging technologies with a special emphasis on blogging and mobile technology. For more information on the Summit, taking place on June 9 and 10 in Rye, New York, or to register, please visit please http://rismedia.com/events/leadership-conference/

TRANSCRIPT

  • Overview of Changes Timing: Late February ▪ As part of a larger effort to improve user experience and promote consistency across the site, Facebook will be modifying Page and Profile layouts by simplifying how identity is managed and displayed. ▪ Changes to layout: ▪ Tab width changing from 760 to 520 pixels ▪ Pages will no longer be able to implement iFrames on their Page. All custom content will need to be on a separate, custom tab, which you can add using FBML or a custom application. ▪ Boxes will no longer appear on Pages or Profiles. This means that Pages will no longer include the Boxes tab, or the Boxes that currently exist on the left-hand column of your Wall/Info tab, underneath your Page's profile picture. You can move the content that currently exists in Boxes to a custom tab.

  • Key Facebook Terms Tabs, Boxes, FBML Tabs Tabs help organize the content on a Facebook Page. By default, every Facebook Page has a Wall and an Info tab (which cannot be removed). You can built a custom tab by adding the FBML application to your page and entering FBML code into it, so that it will display your custom content. Boxes Small, moveable application Boxes found on the Boxes tab and on the left-hand column of a Facebook Page’s Wall/Info tab. FBML Customize a rich, interactive experience on your Page using Facebook’s version of HTML. You can embed Flash animations or add a comments box to your custom experience (more info found on http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/ and http:// facebook.com/facebook- widgets/). The FBML tab can be as wide as 520 pixels and has no restrictions on height.

  • Get ready 3 easy steps ▪ PageAdmins will see a preview of what their tabs will look like after the design change, at least 2 weeks prior to launch. ▪ Getting ready is simple: 1) Adjust your tab widths 2) Remove all Boxes (if applicable) Sample preview of new 520px width on a 3) Create custom content in FBML on Page that hasn’t adjusted its tab widths a custom tab (optional)

LIMITED RELEASE of the NEW IDX2 technology

    CIrrus-IDX-MLS-Home-Search-Beyond-IDX

San Diego, CA - Consumer home searching has just taken a new leap. After nearly a year of development, 1parkplace is proud to announce a “limited” release of the new Cirrus Home Search™, IDX2 MLS lead capture solution. This system is designed to take consumers beyond the basic map based search to find homes in their desired area. Cirrus offers the ability for consumers to have the freedom to navigate any way they wish and have full control of the results.

The key features in the New Cirrus Home Search™ solution include the ability for the consumer to laser focus their search on areas that are clearly surrounded by desired search boundaries, then filter these listings to target a certain property type, price range, foreclosure or short sale and many more combinations based on the consumers interest.

The first set of available searchable boundaries include*:

    · Neighborhoods

    · Subdivisions

    · School districts

    · Zip codes

    · CUSTOM – draw your own

*Cirrus is still being loaded with subdivisions based on our agent feedback. 1parkplace is meeting with top real estate professionals to dial in each community to define the specific neighborhoods and subdivisions for each MLS market.

“The Cirrus Home Search is easier and more accurate than our own MLS system. It’s exactly what our real estate customers have been asking for!” Says Gregg Neuman, CEO - The Neuman & Neuman Team, Prudential California Realty

Currently there are over 250,000 searchable boundaries in the system and by the end of April the company expects that number to grow to over 1 million pre defined searchable areas in the USA.

On top of the innovating the searching technology, 1parkplace also integrated the Cirrus Home Search™ solution with its highly acclaimed BOSS contact management, listing marketing and prospect incubation system. This brings the best of both worlds to the agent, integrated lead generation with contact management.

“1parkplace integrates the two most important dimensions in the consumer and REALTOR relationship, relevant content powered technologically.”  Say’s Allan Dalton former REALTOR.com president and CoFounder of RISMedia’s Top 5 in Real Estate.

The initial “limited” release will be available in February to the first 100 REALTORS in Southern California. 1parkplace plans to keep the initial release manageable to a smaller audience as they iron out any potential wrinkles that are common with the introduction of new technology.

“Our goal is to perfect the process and completely dial in the product as we begin our nationwide rollout in March and April to thousands of our existing members”. Says Steve Hundley, CEO of 1parkplace, Inc.

All agents, teams and brokerage firm owners who want to learn more about this innovative solution are invited to participate in one of the several upcoming live online demonstrations being conducted this month. Act FAST, space is limited.
