1parkplace, is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join its engineering team.  1parkplace develops world class real estate marketing software and is extending the suite of WordPress related applications, widgets and plug-ins.

Our PHP developers are responsible for coding applications that ultimately enhance the functionality of our core C# and .Net solutions, within WordPress.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is focused on innovating high performance technology.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop the programming code from scratch or by extending existing software
  • Design well optimized MySQL & MSSQL database, driven PHP interfaces
  • Testing/identifying any technical challenges and ability to correct
  • Determine functionality for developing PHP-based, user driven, systems
  • Ability to learn MLS data and Bing mapping services
  • Create systems that utilize API calls from 3rd party applications

Skills and Specifications:

  • Skills in PHP coding and web programming interfaces
  • Strong understanding of database driven protocols and functions
  • Knowledge of mapping systems such as Google Maps or Bing
  • Experience with developing WordPress widgets & plug-ins
  • Working knowledge of CSS and ability to troubleshoot style issues
  • Experience developing dynamic driven website pages
  • Ability to solve problems and advise on solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology
  • Must be able to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology
  • Must be thorough and precise in their work
  • Ability to work individually or in a team
  • Ability to multitask

Desired Education and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Programming or related subjects
  • Certification in PHP Development and software programming
  • Ideal candidate understands Microsoft C# and .Net languages
  • Familiarity with real estate industry or real estate related applications
